In 2007 Kenosha Simmons Baseball Organization (KSBO) was formed as a nonprofit organization composed of several local baseball organizations and individuals interested in preserving Simmons Field and growing baseball in Kenosha. KSBO signed a lease with Kenosha Unified School District and the City of Kenosha to manage and operate the historic ballpark.
Who Uses Simmons Field?
Currently, the field hosts the Tremper Trojans, Saint Joseph Lancers, American Legion Baseball, Kenosha Bobcats, Kenosha Merchants Baseball, Kenosha Kings, and Men’s Senior Baseball League (MSBL) as well as other local teams.
